WELCOME

I vividly recall the humble beginnings of the Condura Skyway Marathon which we started in 2008 as the Condura Run. From 2,000 participants...

Once again, I would like to thank all of you, from the bottom of my heart, for making the Condura Skyway Marathon one of the most...

ADVOCACY

The first Condura Run in 2008 was for the benefit of Tubbataha Reefs, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The funds raised by the first-ever Condura run was donated to the Tubbataha Management Office thru its Park Manager, Ms. Angelique Songco. The donation, which amounted to P109,200.00, was used to purchase radio units for the park rangers who are tasked to protect the reef from illegal poachers. A year after, the Condura Run 2009 was held to help protect the whale sharks of Donsol, Sorsogon. Funds raised were donated to the ABS-CBN Foundation...

TESTIMONIALS

We will run the Condura Skyway Marathon primarily for three reasons - it's a race organized by passionate runners for fellow runners, there's no other race that'll get you to step on the Skyway and provide a great view of the city, and we love the Philippine running community

Craig, Justin, and Michelle Logan - Team Logan

I want to run the Condura Skyway Marathon because last year's experience was great. I was thrilled to see the sunrise from the Skyway. The mood was festive and the water stations are plenty. Although, I will probably have to rest my ankle and sit this one out, I will support the race any other way I can!

Marie Calica - Editor in Chief, Runner's World Philippines

As a sponsor, it brings prestige to our brands. As a runner, it gives me bragging rights that I've completed the Skyway Marathon and have been running Condura since its inception!

Greg Banzon - General Manager, RFM Corporation

What I like about the Condura Skyway Marathon is the unique route which takes you to the Skyway. A longer running experience at the newly extended Skyway for 2011 is something to look forward to. It only happens here in Condura Skyway Marathon. Every year, the organizers outdo themselves by making the event bigger and better. This makes Condura Run like a yardstick of running events for the year that the others would emulate.

Jinoe Gavan - Founder, Takbo.ph

Condura Skyway Marathon is the most anticipated race in the Philippines and the organizers pulled out all the stops to come out with a world class event. Any runner who does well in Condura sets the foundation for a great season ahead.

Noy Jopson - Topnotch Philippines Triathlete

I always look forward to the Condura Run. It’s the first major run of the year. Ton Concepcion looks through every detail of the race and always sets the high standards.

Fernando Zobel - President and COO, Ayala Corporation

It's one of the best races in the country and the only one where you can run along the Skyway. Helping a cause through running is a bonus.

Ben Chan - Photographer, Photovendo

The organizers of the Condura Skyway Marathon always come up with creative innovations each year, exerting their best efforts to make sure that every runner reaches the finish line with more than just a smile, at the same time, minding the rest of the environment and adopting as beneficiaries of the race, species that are otherwise neglected.

Jonel Mendoza - Ultramarathoner/Editor in Chief, Frontrunner Magazine

What better way to see Metro Manila than on foot, 26.2 miles of it! Then off to the Islands after and dive with Dolphins of Bohol, the Whale Sharks of Donsol or see some of the most beautiful corals of the world in Tubbataha Reef. All are beneficiaries of the Condura Run.

Kenneth L. Tenebro - US Army Officer/2010, Condura Run Finisher

The Condura Skyway Marathon is an awesome experience! It is an adventure run high above everybody else, like running on a higher and elevated platform. It's like running on top of the metro!

Jovenal “Bald Runner” Narcise - Ultramarathon Runner/Retired Army General

I always look forward to running the Condura Skyway Marathon. It's something else to see the sunrise while cruising along the Skyway seeing thousands of people lining the stretch of highway as far as you can see.

Toby Claudio - Owner, Runnr Specialty Store/Toby’s Sports

Pangmatagalan!

Eric Panique - Champion, Camsur Marathon

It's the only race that I can parade my tutu while running on the skyway. The most unique course is my favorite which I look forward to yearly.

Tessa Prieto-Valdez - Celebrity Host and Columnist

I like joining races that are organized, unifying, and fun. The Condura run is one such race. You know you won't get lost, you can pace yourself side by side your daughter, and since you know all things are covered, you relax and have loads of fun. Its a "breeze!"

Anthony Pangilinan - Management Trainer and Motivational Speaker

The Condura Skyway Marathon is helping to rebuild our endangered tourist destinations. I want to run because I want to help through one thing I do good at - and to also enjoy running the Skyway route.

Rene G. Herrera - National Team, Athletics, Four-Time SEA Games Gold Medalist

As it is my first time joining the Condura Skyway Marathon, as well as my first time running for 10K, I am looking forward to creating my own personal Condura Skyway Marathon story of triumph and fulfillment. Doing so would allow me the honor of being part of a society of runners who are privileged enough to be able to make their mark in the Condura Skyway Marathon and tell their story.

Christian Ballesteros - Business Process Analyst, Citi Shared Services

I look forward to improving my time this year. I haven’t raced since last year’s Condura Run so I’m really excited about this one.

Jeff Tagle - Host, #Hashtag Radio

Last year the Condura Skyway Marathon course got the better of me. This year I'm looking forward to having a go at it again. All of this played out in what I consider to be the Philippines finest marathon event.

Pocholo Ballesteros - Marathoner/Channel Manager, Pacific Healthcare Philippines

I started running in December 2007 almost at the same time as when the Condura Races started. Like my running, I've seen this race grow with the determination and the zeal that the Concepcion brothers (Ton and Patrick) have for running. I've run several international marathons since then including the BM and NY and I'd like to think that like my running the Condura Skyway Marathon only gets better with age.

Leica Carpo - Boston Marathon Finisher/Sunday Inquirer Magazine Editor

Running this race would be my first half marathon in preparation for my first marathon this coming March! I’m excited, plus I am one with its cause in saving the dolphins!

Vangie Montalbo - Outdoor Enthusiast/Engineer
